What is Austral University Hospital?

Austral University Hospital together with the School of Biomedical Sciences and Austral Hospital's Health Plan make up Austral University's Academic Health Center.

The three units constantly intertwine their activities. However, Austral Hospital is responsible for the medical care of patients, the School of Biomedical Sciences is responsible for coordinating education and research tasks, and Austral Hospital's Health Plan provides a comprehensive health care system for its members.

Universidad Austral is a higher education institution created by the Asociación Civil de Estudios Superiores (ACES), a non-profit civil entity, registered in the National Registry of Public Benefit Entities (Registro Nacional de Entidades de Bien Público).
